Aiming to showcase an architect of color, I searched far and wide before I stumbled across this beautiful contemporary chair - Moroso Double Zero - by Ghanaian-British Sir David Adjaye OM OBE. The main goal was to showcase the unique circular quality and modern elegance.  So instead of just shaping the lines and the chair to the shape of a letter form, I used its primary characteristics (circular seat, angular frame) as a baseline rule, pairing gestalt and texture to create abstract versions of each letter.
Research
○ Architects of color with furniture collections
○ Various views and angles of chosen furniture
○ Color, form, and line study
Concept
I visualized this chair primarily from the top and front to take full advantage of the round seat cushion as a dominant feature. Some letters you can find in the chair like the letter "V" from the front view of the backrest. Each letter features
soft red circle representing the velvet seats
angled or curved forms representing the metal structure
